My mom made the best coleslaw. My sister told me I could duplicate it so I gave it a try. This is pretty close. Yum!

The key is the dressing.
In a mixing bowl mix 1/2 cup real mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons cider vinegar, enough evaporated milk to thin a little. Mix in fresh ground sea salt and corse ground pepper to taste.

In a larger bowl mix 1/2 small green cabbage chopped, 1/4 cup chopped red onion, and 1/3 cup grated carrots . Pour the dressing over vegetables and mix well. Chill.
