All flavor no guilt. This dish brings the taste of an egg roll without the carbs and fat of an egg roll wrapper. Try it – you’ll like it.

Heres what you’ll need.

  • 1-1 1/2 cup finely chopped precooked pork loin
  • 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 1 cup shredded raw carrots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons liquid aminos or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • Fresh ground sea salt and red pepper flakes to taste

Pre chop and measure all ingredients before beginning.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok. add remaining ingredients and stir to heat through. Serve hot. Don’t over cook. the vegetables should remain crunchy.

Serves 4

Variation:

  • Hamburger may be substituted for pork. You’ll need to precook the hamburger and drain off excess fat before adding vegetables and seasoning.
  • You can garnish the dish with toasted sesame seeds or roasted peanuts.
