To make the recipe more carb friendly I made a few simple changes.
Instead of traditional flour crust I made a pecan crust. Mix together 1 1/2 cups crushed pecans, 1/4th cup sugar substitute and 3 tablespoons melted butter. Mix will and press into a pie pan. Cover edges with tinfoil and add filling. Bake at 450 degrees until filling is set. About 20-25 minutes. Cool and top with sliced fresh strawberries. Serve cold.
